Adobe Application
Once you’ve decided you want to work for Adobe, the first thing to do is submit an online application.
As well as sharing key details about your education, relevant experience and qualifications, this application is your first chance to make a good impression, so make sure you read through the requirements carefully.
Then, once you’ve completed the application, it’s a good idea to read over everything you’ve written to ensure it’s spelt correctly, the details are accurate and the information you’ve given tells Adobe everything they need to know (as concisely as possible).
Phone Screening
If your application is successful, you’ll be asked to take part in a phone screening.
The phone screening section of the process allows Adobe to tell you more about the company and the day-to-day requirements of the specific role you’re applying for. It also gives you a fantastic opportunity to ask any questions you may have.
Adobe will want to know about your skills, background experience and qualifications, so make sure you’re familiar with all the details listed on your CV.
Adobe uses phone screening early on in the process to gauge applicants’ interest, and to ensure they’re taking the right people forward.
Phone Interview
If you seem like a good fit for Adobe, you’ll be invited for a phone interview with a hiring manager.
Usually lasting around 30-45 minutes, the phone interview will cover your background, experience and qualifications, as well as your problem-solving and leadership skills.
You can prepare ahead by thinking of some examples of past projects you’ve worked on and how you’ve demonstrated qualities such as strong leadership, and successfully working as part of a team.
It’s also a great idea to come prepared with examples of how you embody Adobe’s values:
- Genuine
- Exceptional
- Innovative
- Involved
