W-GCTA contains five sections designed to find out how good an individual is at analytical and logical reasoning and it measures ability to logically analyse assumptions, arguments, deductions, inferences and interpreting information.
Burges Salmon Group Exercise
The group exercise demonstrates how you work and perform in a team. The group will be presented with information, including a number of issues and you will need to produce solutions. Ensure to find a balance between speaking up and making your point but without dominating the group. You must show the assessor that you can work well in any situation, especially within a team as that is something that will be expected of you at the company.
Burges Salmon Written Exercise
For the written exercise, you’ll be given material to read, usually a type of case study or brief relating to the company, and be expected to write a report. This will be to assess your written communication skills as well as grammar and vocab and how you would deal with given scenarios in the workplace.
