Founded in 1963, CVS is one of the largest US pharmaceutical chains. As well as pharmacies and clinics, it provides groceries, cosmetics, and photo processing.

Prepare yourself for leading employers

CVS interviews

There are a number of interviews you might be requested to participate in during the recruitment process, including a pre-screening interview and in-person interview.

Pre-screening interview

There may be an initial pre-screening call or video interview towards the early stages of your application. These are typically short (approximately 10–15 minutes) and help a recruiter assess your interest in the position, communication skills and to answer any questions you have about the role.

In-person interview

The final stage of the CVS hiring process is an in-person interview. This typically lasts 20–30 minutes and is much more in-depth than the pre-screening interview.

You will be required to talk about your job experience and work history. You may also be asked some behavioural-style questions such as: “Tell me about a time when you demonstrated excellent customer service”.

It’s important to structure your answers well and relate them back to any of the core values CVS is looking for. One tip is to use the STAR method to answer questions (Situation, Task, Action, Response).

Practice Aptitude Tests is not associated with CVS. We provide preparation services for CVS psychometric tests. Our tests are not designed to be identical to any style, employer or industry. Visit https://jobs.cvshealth.com/ to find out more.
