T-Mobile Aptitude Tests

Online assessments are used as quantitative and unbiased ways of gathering data about an applicant’s abilities, skills, personality, and competencies.

Through these assessments, you will demonstrate how likely you are to be successful in the role, how much you match the requirements, and how teachable you will be in the future.

The actual assessments you will face will depend on the role you have applied for, and you should set aside up to an hour and a half to complete the tests, which can be taken at home and in your own time.

T-Mobile situational judgement test

A situational judgement test is a series of questions that are based on realistic workplace situations that you are likely to face if you were already in the role.

Each question is a scenario, usually a problem that needs solving, and there will be several courses of action to choose from. You will need to decide which is the best option to choose to solve the situation.

There are likely to be more than one ‘good’ answer in the multiple-choice options, and there are no real right or wrong answers. The option you choose will demonstrate your natural reactions, how you behave at work and the way you deal with conflict.

T-Mobile Numerical Reasoning

Being comfortable using and manipulating numerical data has many uses in the corporate and customer-facing roles at T-Mobile, and to assess this you will need to complete a numerical reasoning assessment.

In this test, you will be presented with a series of questions that are based on graphs or tables. You will need to complete some basic mathematical operations using this data to find the right answer from the multiple-choice options.

T-Mobile Verbal Reasoning

Verbal reasoning assessments are tests that are based on information that is presented as a paragraph or passage of text. You will need to quickly read and analyse the information in the passage, pick out the important information, and use it to answer the question.

The question is usually a statement, and you will need to decide if the statement is true, false, or if there isn’t enough information to say based on the information in the text. Although this might be related to the industry or the job role, you will not need any previous knowledge to answer correctly.

T-Mobile Personality Test

Personality tests are designed to assess your work behaviour, the way you deal with problems, and what motivates you at work.

To do this, you will usually be presented with a group of statements and have to rate them, depending on how much you think they describe you. This is normally on a sliding scale.

There are no right or wrong answers in this assessment, but the way you respond will demonstrate to the recruiters how you prefer to work, what type of work you would be most suitable for, and the type of culture that you will excel in.

T-Mobile Interview

If you pass the assessments, then you will have a telephone interview with the recruitment team, where you will be asked questions about your experience and discuss things like your desired rate of pay.

In the onsite interview, T-Mobile described the process as ‘unique and fun’ - and this might include a face-to-face meeting with the recruitment team or a manager, or it might mean taking part in role plays.

During the interview, the recruitment team wants you to describe your competencies, skills and experience, usually in the form of examples. They also want to know that you have completed research about the business, the wider telecommunications industry, and the role you have applied for. To stand out from the crowd, make sure to ask thoughtful questions about the role and the company.

    interesting

it seemed as if sometimes there could've been two or more answers for most or least, but never both at the same time. the question about the teacher in the classroom seemed a little too easy, so i suspect i answered the question wrong, having chosen the most obvious answer
